Bare trees press close on all sides. Spring growth pushes through dead leaf litter on the ground. Grid windows reflect pale sky above. The Ogurawa settlement housed the Chichibu Mine workforce from the 1940s until the last resident left in September 2006. Part of the Nichitsu Mining Village series.
